the journal: write with me part 2

Spend time today writing with me,

Grab your journal and a pen, and find a comfy quiet space to sit down for some meaningful reflection.

Today let’s think more about The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer (2007).

If you haven’t read it, don’t worry, you don’t need to for this exercise. Just know that it is a popular spiritual book that explores the powerful themes of our consciousness, self-awareness, and how to find inner peace. Singer encourages us to observe our thoughts and emotions without attachment, guiding us toward a deeper understanding of our own true selves. The book emphasizes the importance of living in the present moment and letting go of the mental patterns that typically hinder personal growth. This quote below is from Singer:

“The only thing you really have is your own experience.”

By documenting our thoughts and feelings, we can gain clarity and insight into our true selves, allowing for deeper self-discovery and transformation.

Do you know yourself, your memories, your experiences, and how you have been shaped and formed by the world around you? Does this quote connect, inspire, conjure, resonate, or push you to think on anything in particular? What kind of reflections can you draw, if you relate this quote, to your own experiences and your beliefs?
